Atheists: What if homophobia is an evolutionary adaptation?

It doesn't require bashing gays to prove that you're not a homosexual. The only men who mostly want to do that seem to be the ones who are already marginalized as far as reproduction. I could just as easily pose that homophobia works as a factor in identifying those men as unfit for reproduction because they're antisocial. I don't really see that you have a point.
