What is the best birth control with least amount of side effects and most reliable?

I think it's really hard to say especially on a public site like this, since every woman is SO different and that the "best" type of birth control really depends on a woman's lifestyle and medical history. I've personally have always been on the pill and haven't experienced major difficulties. I hear stories on both sides of the spectrum (good and bad) for the shot, the patch, and IUD's as well. I'm sorry I can't offer that much help, but I hope your doctor will find something suitable for you and your lifestyle/health history.
